Joe Roti - Sound EngineerJoe has been in the music business for over forty years, as a musician thru the 60's and 70's in various cover bands, and behind a mixing console live, or in the studio thru the mid 80's. He has done projects at River North, Chicago Recording Co., and Mantra studios. In 1980 he built and operated "Two Productions" recording studio while producing an original material band called "Pale Hero", also doing some vocal arrangements for the band.
During the daytime, Joe spent 30 years in Local # 134 as a master electrician, tackling such projects as, the stage lighting and wiring of ABC's"Eye Witness News" set, Oprah's original live studio, WTTW's new "Soundstage" and production studios, and wiring the strobe lights atop the antennas above Sears Tower.
After a short hiatus of about 15 years from the music business, Joe returned to the console for the live performances of the local band "Marshall Law", featuring John "Harpman" Larkin, and our very own Kevin Barry, which brings him to recently joining the BSP family.
