Brian - along with Len and Kevin Barry - is a founding member of Backstage Pass. Brian’s musical origins stem from both his uncle and late grandfather. While growing up in the 80's, Brian took several years of piano lessons before using his basic training for rock 'n' roll upon graduating from high school. Brian's rock 'n' roll influence comes directly from his uncle, Walter Parazaider, who is the saxophonist/flutist and founder of the rock group CHICAGO.

Brian loves many different styles of music, but there isn't any style more appealing to Brian than 80's rock and the arena rock of the late 70's. "That's when music was music! The arena rock of the late 70's is a little before my time, but I love that music as much as I love the rock of the 80's. Keyboards were so dominant back then, and what a rush it is to be on stage when covering such classic groups like Bon Jovi, Journey, Whitesnake, Night Ranger, Boston, Foreigner, Kansas and more!"

During the 90's, Brian founded two rock groups - The Aspirations in 1991 (70's rock) and Mystic Raven in 1998 (70's and 80's rock). In September 2002, Brian joined forces with an elite group of musicians to form Backstage Pass. Brian uses a 76-key Ensoniq E-Prime board for the rich piano patches; he uses a Korg N-5 synthesizer for just about everything else (the synth, organ, analog patches and more); and - unlike most keyboard players of the current times - he midis out of his Korg on several songs to use a Roland AX-1 "Keytar" to gain some mobility on stage. Brian's "Keytar" adds a very unique look to Backstage Pass.
